Monetary Limits Have Been Revised in Applications to Consumer Arbitration Committees
In applications to be made to the Consumer Arbitration Committees for 2021: District Consumer Arbitration Committees, in disputes below 7.550 (seven thousand five hundred and fifty) Turkish Lira,
Provincial Consumer Arbitration Committees, ,n the disputes between 7.550 (seven thousand five hundred and fifty) Turkish Liras and 11.330 (eleven thousand three hundred and thirty) Turkish Liras in provinces with metropolitan status,
Provincial Consumer Arbitration Committees, in disputes under 11.330 (eleventhousand three hundred and thirty) Turkish Liras in the centers of provinces that are not in metropolitan status,
Provincial Consumer Arbitration Committees, in the disputes between 7.550 (seven thousand five hundred and fifty) Turkish Liras and 11.330 (eleven thousand three hundred and thirty) Turkish Liras in the districts of the provinces that do not have metropolitan status are authorized.
Provincial Consumer Arbitration Committee inside provincial boundaries, District Consumer Arbitration Committee inside the district boundaries are authorized. Consumer Arbitration Committee that is designated by the Ministry is authorized in the districts where no Consumer Arbitration Committee is established.
Applications can be made to residential area of the consumer or the places where the consumer transaction is made.
Incase that there is no Consumer Arbitration Committee established in the district where the applications can be made, consumers can make the applications to District Governorship. These applications are forwarded to the authorized Consumer Arbitration Committee determined by the Ministry in order to be made duly, by the District Governorship.
